Improper authentication throttling in PiiGAB M-Bus SoftwarePack 900S allows remote attackers to brute-force HTTP Basic credentials. The gateway's HTTP Basic Authentication endpoint accepts repeated login attempts without a limit or disclosed rate-control mechanism. Network access to the web interface is sufficient, and a successful password guess discloses data available to the compromised account.
