Improper certificate validation in IBM Security QRadar EDR 3.12 allows remote attackers to spoof a trusted host or client. IBM has not disclosed the certificate-checking locus or the validation operation that accepts the spoofed peer. The attack requires control of the communication path between the host and client and exposes or alters data exchanged on that path, without reported service interruption.
