Authenticated information disclosure through verbose error messages
Published Aug 31, 2023 · Updated Sep 27, 2024
Information disclosure in IBM Security Verify Information Queue 10.0.4 and 10.0.5 allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive data. IBM identifies generation of an error message containing sensitive information as the weakness but does not identify the affected endpoint or data exposed. An authenticated network session is required, and the disclosed data can support further attacks against the service.
