Ticket-data disclosure via unchecked ticket identifiers
Published Nov 24, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
IDOR in SysAid Help Desk before 23.2.15 allows remote authenticated users to read other users' ticket data over the network. The ShowMessage.jsp endpoint accepts an attacker-chosen numeric srID without enforcing ticket ownership, and returned pages expose message bodies through EmailHtmlSourceIframe.jsp sid references. Requester-level access is sufficient to enumerate open and closed tickets, exposing messages and any sensitive files or credentials they contain.
