CVE-2023-33684Public exploit

Authentication bypass via IP-bound session reuse

Published Jun 6, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Weak session management in SFT DAB 600/C firmware 1.9.3 allows remote attackers on the same network to hijack sessions. The web API binds an authenticated session to a client IP address and accepts unauthorized requests after an attacker assumes that NAT-assigned address. Exploitation requires an existing authenticated session and same-network access, after which the attacker can create accounts or manipulate the transmitter.
