Script execution via unescaped report parameters
Published Jun 28, 2023 · Updated Nov 27, 2024
Reflected XSS in ChurchCRM 4.5.3 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser through GroupReports.php parameters. GroupReports.php places the GroupRole, ReportModel, and OnlyCart hidden-parameter values into generated page output without neutralizing script markup. A victim must open an attacker-crafted request; the script then runs in the ChurchCRM origin and can access browser-held session data.
