Browser script execution via unsanitized search input
Published Jun 21, 2023 · Updated Dec 6, 2024
Cross-site scripting in PHPGurukul User Registration & Login and User Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to inject script via searchkey. The /admin/search-result.php component reflects the searchkey request value into an HTML response without neutralizing executable markup. The endpoint belongs to the admin panel, and a user must render the crafted response; exploitation runs script in that user's browser context.
