Script execution via unescaped preview theme parameter
Published Aug 1, 2023 · Updated Oct 21, 2024
Reflected XSS in PHPJabbers Time Slots Booking Calendar 3.3 allows remote attackers to execute script via preview.php's theme parameter. The preview endpoint places the decoded theme value into HTML without neutralizing injected quotes, angle brackets, or script markup, so the browser interprets the supplied value as executable content. Exploitation requires a target user to open the crafted preview URL, and successful script runs in the application's browser origin with access to page data and actions available to that user.
