Account takeover via CSRF password change
Published Jul 31, 2023 · Updated Oct 22, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in ZLT S10G S10G_3.11.6 allows remote attackers to take over administrator accounts via a crafted POST request. The /goform/goform_set_cmd_process endpoint accepts a password-change POST without an anti-CSRF token and trusts the victim's session cookie. A logged-in administrator must open attacker-controlled HTML, after which the attacker sets a chosen password and gains the account.
