Unauthenticated contact disclosure via unrestricted admin endpoints
Published Jun 5, 2023 · Updated Jan 8, 2025
Path traversal in SS&C Advent Tamale RMS before 23.1 allows remote attackers to read contact records through exposed administrative URLs. The /ts-admin/Contact and /ts-admin/Login endpoints are unrestricted and serve internal contact data without enforcing the intended path and access boundaries. No authentication or user interaction is required; exposed data includes usernames, email addresses, and other application-internal information.
