CVE-2023-33472Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via unauthorized event-handler commands

Published Jan 13, 2024 · Updated Jun 11, 2025

Access control failure in Scada-LTS 2.7.5.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute code through Event Handlers. The server accepts a low-privilege session's direct event-handler test request and passes attacker-supplied commands to the application server despite hiding the administrative page. Any low-privilege account is sufficient; execution can read or write arbitrary files, disclose sensitive data, change privileges, or interrupt the service.
