Classic buffer overflow in Mitsubishi Electric CNC Series devices allows remote attackers to execute code or force a persistent crash. The undisclosed packet-processing locus copies attacker-controlled packet data without validating the destination buffer size. No authentication is required, and successful denial of service leaves the affected controller unavailable until a system reset.
