Remote command execution via management protocol command
Published Aug 4, 2023 · Updated Oct 17, 2024
OS command injection in ConnectedIO ER2000 2.1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via its management protocol. The protocol accepts an OS command selected by the management platform and forwards it to managed devices for execution without constraining the command. Network access to the management communication path is sufficient; no authentication or user interaction is required, and commands can run across managed devices.
