Cleartext credential storage in ConnectedIO Connected IO 2.1.0 and earlier allows attackers to exfiltrate credentials and impersonate devices. Public advisories identify unencrypted password and credential retention but do not disclose the storage resource or retrieval path. Network access is sufficient, with no privileges or user interaction required, and stolen credentials enable device impersonation.
