Unauthenticated file deletion via path traversal
Published Aug 3, 2023 · Updated Oct 17, 2024
Path traversal in Control ID IDSecure 4.7.26.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary files through network requests. The deletion operation fails to confine an attacker-controlled path to its intended directory; the affected endpoint is undisclosed. No authentication or user interaction is required, and deletion of application or system files can interrupt service.
