Authenticated arbitrary SQL execution via undisclosed injection point
Published Aug 3, 2023 · Updated Oct 17, 2024
SQL injection in Suprema BioStar 2 before 2.9.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL commands over the network. The public advisory does not identify the affected endpoint, parameter, or database-query construction that mishandles attacker-controlled input. A valid BioStar 2 account is required; successful exploitation permits database disclosure, modification, deletion, or service interruption through arbitrary SQL execution.
