Database query manipulation via unfiltered profile user ID
Published May 23, 2023 · Updated Apr 16, 2025
SQL injection in Piwigo 13.6.0 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate database queries through the profile user_id parameter. The admin/profile.php path passes user_id through build_user() and getuserdata() into an SQL statement without filtering the value. An administrator session is required, and the published Boolean and time-delay payloads respectively alter query logic and delay database responses.
