Unauthenticated user data disclosure via unprotected API
Published May 25, 2023 · Updated Jan 16, 2025
Information disclosure in IceCMS 1.0.0 allows remote attackers to retrieve user names, passwords, and email addresses through its API. The API accepts a user_id without requiring login and returns the selected account's name, password, and email address in plaintext. Network access to the API is sufficient, and arbitrary accounts, including administrator accounts, can be queried.
