Administrator authentication bypass via injectable username

Published May 23, 2023 · Updated Jan 31, 2025

SQL injection in PHPGurukul Old Age Home Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to bypass administrator authentication. The admin/login.php handler incorporates the username parameter into an SQL query without neutralizing quote and comment syntax, so a crafted Boolean expression is accepted as a valid login.
