Classic buffer overflow in affected Fortinet FortiMail and FortiNDR versions allows remote authenticated users to run code via crafted HTTP requests. The webmail and administrative HTTP request handlers copy attacker-controlled input into a fixed-size buffer without verifying its length. Regular FortiMail webmail access or FortiNDR administrative access is required; successful exploitation runs code in the affected service context.
