Capture-replay in the Nissan Sylphy Classic 2021 keyfob system allows physically proximate attackers to unlock doors with recorded RF signals. The system allegedly emits the same radio-frequency code for every door-open request, so a captured transmission can be resent to trigger another unlock. Nissan disputes reproducibility with genuine parts because the demonstrated keyfob and door handle do not match customer technology.
