Stored XSS via unescaped field settings
Published Aug 14, 2023 · Updated Oct 9, 2024
Stored XSS in Custom Field For WP Job Manager before 1.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via crafted field settings. The Field Name and OutPut settings are stored without sanitization or escaping and later rendered in field-edit or job-preview pages, so injected markup executes in a viewer's browser. Administrator-level access is required to plant the payload, and execution occurs when affected edit or job-preview content is viewed.
