Stored cross-site scripting in Papaya Viewer 1.0.1449 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through crafted medical-image metadata. The Show Header function renders fields from loaded DICOM or NIFTI images without sanitizing embedded script content. Exploitation requires a victim to load the crafted image and display its metadata, enabling session impersonation or medical-data disclosure in a hosting application.
