Improper link handling in Mojang Studios Minecraft through 1.19 and 1.20 pre-releases before 7 allows attackers to overwrite files via world data. World-data handling follows symbolic links in crafted worlds and writes partially controlled contents beyond the world directory. A target must load or extract untrusted world data with symbolic-link support; code execution depends on the overwritten file and environment.
