CVE-2023-33238Network attack vector

Authenticated command execution via certificate input

Published Aug 17, 2023 · Updated Oct 28, 2024

Command injection in Moxa router certificate management allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through the web service. The certificate-management function inadequately validates crafted input before incorporating it into a system command executed by the device. Administrative web-interface access is required, and successful exploitation grants command execution with control over device data and operation.
