Remote code execution via retrofit validation overflow

Stack-based buffer overflow in IDEMIA biometric terminal firmware allows remote attackers to execute code via a retrofit validation command. The retrofit validation handler performs boundary-sensitive validation without properly checking buffer limits, causing attacker-controlled data to overwrite the stack. Without Enforced Security or mTLS, arbitrary network sources can issue the Thrift command; affected firmware is before 4.15.5, 2.12.2, or 1.2.7 by terminal family.
