Symlink validation failure in Diebold Nixdorf Vynamic Security Suite allows physical attackers to bypass PBA disk protections. The PBA process accepts attacker-controlled symlinks from the system disk without validating that they resolve to intended files. Physical disk access is required; affected branches precede 3.3.0 SR16, 4.0.0 SR06, 4.1.0 SR04, 4.2.0 SR03, and 4.3.0 SR01.
