CVE-2023-3320Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Stored XSS via missing settings nonce

Published Jun 20, 2023 · Updated Feb 13, 2025

Cross-site request forgery in Musilda WP Sticky Social 1.0.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject stored scripts via forged requests. The admin/views/admin.php settings handler accepts submitted values without verifying a WordPress nonce, then stores attacker-controlled settings rendered on site pages. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to open an attacker-controlled link or page; the stored script then runs in visitors' browsers.
