CVE-2023-33171Network attack vector

Browser script execution in a victim session

Published Jul 11, 2023 · Updated Feb 28, 2025

Cross-site scripting in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (on-premises) allows remote attackers to run script in a user's browser. Microsoft identifies CWE-79 but has not published the affected page, parameter, or the encoding or neutralization failure that accepts untrusted input. Exploitation requires a victim to interact with attacker-controlled content; successful script execution can expose Dynamics data and perform actions in the victim's session.
