CVE-2023-3315Network attack vector

File-existence disclosure via unprotected form validation

Published Jun 19, 2023 · Updated Dec 11, 2024

Information disclosure in Jenkins Project Team Concert Plugin 2.4.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to test whether controller file paths exist. Affected form-validation methods pass attacker-supplied toolkit paths to filesystem existence checks without first enforcing Overall/Administer permission. Overall/Read permission is sufficient, and the response reveals only whether the chosen controller-side path exists rather than its contents.
