Code loading in affected Microsoft .NET, Visual Studio 2022, and PowerShell 7.2 releases allows local users to execute arbitrary binaries. During crash and stack-trace handling on Windows, the runtime can load an arbitrary binary; Microsoft has not disclosed the exact lookup or validation error. Exploitation requires low local privileges and user interaction, after which code runs in the affected process context.
