Information disclosure via CGM buffer over-read
Published Jun 13, 2023 · Updated Jan 3, 2025
Out-of-bounds reads in Siemens JT2Go and Teamcenter Visualization allow attackers to disclose data through a crafted CGM file. The CGM parser reads past the end of an allocated buffer when processing malformed file data. Exploitation requires a user to open the file, and disclosure is limited to memory exposed by the out-of-bounds read.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
