Remote script injection via First name parameter
Published Jun 18, 2023 · Updated Nov 27, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Online Shopping System Advanced 1.0 allows remote attackers to inject script through the addsuppliers.php First name parameter. The addsuppliers.php handler processes the supplied First name value without adequate output encoding, allowing attacker-controlled markup or script to reach a rendered page. Exploitation requires network access to the application and a request carrying the crafted value; the resulting script executes in a viewing user's browser, with impact bounded to that browser context.
