CVE-2023-33108

Local memory corruption via queued GPU timelines

Published Jan 2, 2024 · Updated Jun 3, 2025

Use after free in Qualcomm Snapdragon Graphics Driver allows local users to corrupt memory by destroying a GPU context with queued timeline objects. Context teardown frees the GPU context while KGSL_GPU_AUX_COMMAND_TIMELINE objects remain queued, leaving later processing to reference released memory. Locally running code must create the queued state and destroy its context; successful exploitation can read or alter protected data or crash the device.
