Improper input validation in Qualcomm chipset firmware allows remote attackers to interrupt service via a DL NAS Transport message. The Multi-Mode Call Processor handles a message identifier that is not defined by the 3GPP specification instead of rejecting it, causing a transient denial of service. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented consequence is limited to temporary service interruption.
