Service interruption via malformed 5G SMS container

Improper input validation in Qualcomm Snapdragon firmware allows remote attackers to interrupt service using a malformed 5G SMS container. The Multi-Mode Call Processor mishandles a non-standard container size while processing SMS data received through downlink NAS transport in 5G New Radio. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented consequence is a transient service interruption rather than data access or modification.
