Buffer over-read in Qualcomm Snapdragon ADSP speaker protection v2 allows local users to interrupt audio service via crafted channel information. Qualcomm identifies the locus and weakness but has not disclosed which buffer operation reads beyond its bounds. Low-privileged local access is required, and the result is a transient service interruption without reported data exposure or modification.
