Browser script execution via unescaped Cottage Number
Published Jun 18, 2023 · Updated Dec 18, 2024
Cross-site scripting in SourceCodester Resort Reservation System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run script via Cottage Number input. The Manage Room page renders the supplied Cottage Number without neutralizing browser-interpreted markup. Access to the management-only interface and a user who loads the affected room view are required; the script runs in that viewer's browser context.
