Memory corruption via unchecked ACDB calibration copy

Buffer overflow in Qualcomm Snapdragon audio components allows local administrators to corrupt memory through ACDB calibration data. The ACDB calibration-data handoff copies a returned buffer without confirming that its length fits the audio destination. Exploitation requires local high privileges and can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability within the affected device.
