Memory corruption in Qualcomm Snapdragon kernel firmware parsing allows local users to compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The kernel parses attacker-replaced firmware metadata without properly validating an array index, corrupting memory when a driver loads the file. Exploitation requires local ability to replace firmware files and trigger the associated driver; successful corruption can expose or alter data or interrupt the system.
