Profiler statistics reset via GET-capable HTTP endpoint
Published May 16, 2023 · Updated Jan 23, 2025
CSRF in Jenkins Tag Profiler Plugin 0.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to reset profiler statistics through an HTTP request. The reset action on the /tag-profiler root endpoint changes current measurements without requiring a POST request. Exploitation requires a logged-in Jenkins user with Overall/Read permission to load attacker-controlled content; the consequence is limited to clearing profiling measurements.
