CVE-2023-33000Network attack vector

Credential disclosure via unmasked configuration form

Published May 16, 2023 · Updated Jan 23, 2025

Credential disclosure in Jenkins Project NS-ND Integration Performance Publisher 4.8.0.149 and earlier allows attackers to capture job credentials. The job configuration form renders stored credential values without masking even though the same values are encrypted in config.xml on disk. Exposure requires an attacker to observe the configuration form; the reported consequence is disclosure of configured credentials, not modification or service interruption.
