Email request forgery via unprotected endpoint
Published May 16, 2023 · Updated Jan 23, 2025
CSRF in Jenkins SAML Single Sign On(SSO) Plugin 2.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to relay crafted email requests. The exposed HTTP endpoint accepts cross-site requests without requiring POST and forwards attacker-controlled JSON to miniOrange’s email API. Exploitation requires a browser session belonging to a user with Overall/Read permission; the resulting action sends attacker-chosen email content.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
