CVE-2023-32990Network attack vector

Authenticated server connections via unchecked HTTP endpoints

Published May 16, 2023 · Updated Jan 23, 2025

Missing authorization in Azure VM Agents Plugin 852.v8d35f0960a_43 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to contact arbitrary Azure servers. Several HTTP endpoints initiate Azure Cloud connection attempts with caller-supplied server details and credential IDs without checking the required permission. Overall/Read permission and a credential ID obtained separately are required; the requests make Jenkins authenticate to an attacker-controlled server.
