Stored XSS via missing nonce validation
Published Nov 7, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in CRUDLab Jazz Popups 1.8.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to store XSS through forged requests. The plugin's settings-update path omits valid nonce verification and accepts state-changing input from a forged administrator request. Exploitation requires an authenticated site administrator to follow an attacker-controlled link, after which the saved payload executes in later browser views.
