Reflected XSS via unescaped OAuth parameters
Published Jun 12, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Reflected XSS in Katie Seaborn Zotpress 7.3.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts via crafted OAuth parameters. The optional OAuth request-token handler in lib/admin/admin.accounts.oauth.php reflects oauth_token and return_uri query parameters without adequate sanitization or output escaping. Exploitation requires OAuth to be enabled and a privileged user to follow a crafted link; injected script then runs in that user's WordPress origin.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
