Administrator-level stored XSS via unsanitized book fields
Published May 28, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Nose Graze Novelist 1.2.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to run script. Book information fields accept and retain unsafe HTML because affected releases do not sanitize stored field values before rendering them. A privileged user must store crafted field content and another user must view the rendered book data; script runs in that viewer's browser.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
