Unauthenticated code execution via CGI command injection

OS command injection in the CGI component of Synology Router Manager before 1.2.5-8227-6 and 1.3.1-9346-3 allows remote attackers to execute code. The CGI component passes attacker-controlled input into an operating-system command without adequate neutralization, but Synology has not disclosed the affected endpoint, parameter, or command construction. Network access without authentication or user interaction is sufficient; the undisclosed vector prevents narrower exposure triage.
