Authenticated arbitrary file upload via missing type validation
Published Jun 17, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in Unlimited Elements For Elementor 1.5.66 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to place files on the server. The file-manager path in UniteCreatorAssets accepts attacker-supplied files without validating their types, so dangerous extensions reach site storage. Contributor-level access is sufficient, and code execution follows when the server executes an uploaded file.
