Stack-based buffer overflow in MediaTek Modem IMS Stack NR15, NR16, and NR17 allows remote attackers to crash affected devices. The IMS Stack fails to enforce a buffer boundary while processing remotely supplied input, causing a stack-based overflow and system crash. No authentication, additional execution privileges, or user interaction is required; the documented consequence is service interruption through a device crash.
